MAY 19, 2026

Over a decade since their collaboration was debuted on the mainstage at Ultra Music Festival 2015, Martin Garrix and Ed Sheeran have officially released their new track, “Repeat It.”

“Repeat It” has lived in the folklore of the Dance Music community ever since it was teased on social media before the song had ever been played live. Dance Music fans were eager to hear what Martin Garrix could create with Ed Sheeran as his vocalist. In the aftermath of Garrix debuting the song at Ultra Music Fest, fans were left scrambling to find a recorded copy of the song, but to no avail. After several years of waiting and discussing the track as if it were lost media, “Repeat It” is officially out and making an impact on the Dance Music scene.

Martin Garrix’s production on “Repeat It” is effortlessly lively and hopeful. One must imagine the song evokes intense feelings of nostalgia in listeners who have patiently waited for the song’s release over the past decade, providing Dance Music fans with a window to peer into and reminisce on their memories of going to festivals and clubs to hear their favorite DJs play.

Vocally, Ed Sheeran’s performance is similarly retrospective and wistful. The song’s main lyrical theme, the phrase “rewind, repeat it,” adds another layer of nostalgic longing to the track, giving the song an emotional quality on top of its otherwise lively production.

“Repeat It” is one of the most storied Dance Music releases in recent memory, and for true Dance Music fans, a well-polished release such as this is worth every second of the wait.

REVIEW by TYLER CONWAY

MAY 13, 2026

Kicking off the catalog of summer 2026 Dance releases with a mellow yet groovy new song, Calvin Harris and Jazzy team up on their new single “Satisfy.”

“Satisfy” marks the first time Harris and Jazzy have collaborated on a song together. However, both artists’ respective styles mesh together seamlessly into a track that offers both laid-back and energized components, with Calvin Harris’ timeless production style providing a strong foundation for Jazzy’s emotive vocal performance.

Production-wise, Calvin Harris crafts a subtle piano melody that swiftly expands into a head-bobbing dance track suited for a dancefloor on a hot summer night. The production and overall vibe of “Satisfy” is reminiscent of Harris’ other summertime smash hits, such as “This Is What You Came For,” “Feel So Close,” and “Summer.” Although the new track features musical elements similar to his other hits, Harris’ controlled production on “Satisfy” delivers a fresh, crisp sound that provides the vocals with room to flourish.

Jazzy’s vocal performance on “Satisfy” is intimate and exciting. The song’s lyrics invoke feelings of spending a night out with a loved one or partner. The production and vocals are quintessentially summery, perfect for a beach night or a drive home with the windows down. The duo of Calvin Harris and Jazzy’s new single “Satisfy” is a vibrant opening to the onset of summer, and is sure to satisfy Dance Music fans globally.

"Locked In"

REVIEW by TYLER CONWAY

JAN 9, 2026

Standout producers MORTEN and David Guetta team up yet again on their new record “Locked In.” MORTEN and Guetta have famously collaborated on several massive songs dating back to 2019, including “Never Be Alone,” “Dreams,” and “Kill Me Slow.” Their new single “Locked In” is the latest iteration of the style of music MORTEN and Guetta have coined as “Future Rave,” a genre distinguished by its avant-garde chord progressions and melodies. The duo’s history of working together seems apparent on this record, where both DJ’s unique styles symbiotically coexist as one coherent and fresh sound.

Lyrically, the song centers on variations of the phrase “I’m locked in,” a colloquialism for being in the zone and performing at a high level. I can confidently say MORTEN and Guetta were thoroughly locked in, in every sense of the phrase, when they got together in the studio to produce this track. The progressions, buildups, and beat drops on the record are some of the most rewarding of 2026 so far, which is what listeners have come to expect from the two legendary DJs. The song's lyrical simplicity provides the hard-hitting production with room to flourish, begetting a danceable track that will surely get spins at festivals and clubs everywhere. MORTEN and David Guetta deliver yet another masterful interpretation of their “Future Rave” sound on “Locked In.”

REVIEW by TYLER CONWAY

JAN 29, 2026

UK Electronic duo, Snakehips, collaborates with Indie Pop band Cults on their new track, “You & Me (Always Forever)”.  The song features a sample of Cult’s 2013 hit “Always Forever,” and manages to capture the optimism and whimsicality of the early 2010s while providing a modern take on the Dance genre.

Oliver Lee and James Carter of Snakehips have had numerous successful collaborations with other artists, spanning from ZAYN on “Cruel” to Tinashe and Chance the Rapper on “All My Friends,” positioning “You & Me (Always Forever)” as their latest of many notable collaborations over the span of their careers.

Snakehips’ production on “You & Me (Always Forever)” encapsulates the eccentric, unique vibe of the track it samples, while providing an energetic and invigorating twist that transforms the song from a faint Twee Ballad into a thumping Dance track. The song puts a spotlight on Snakehips’ immense range and talent as music producers, wherein they’re skilled enough to engineer a head-bobbing Dance track out of a song that is otherwise challenging to move around to on the Dance floor.

“You & Me (Always Forever)” is not only a strong Dance track but also a testament to Dance music as a genre, where skilled DJs can extrapolate from the work of Artists that came before them, and turn time-tested concepts into innovative and exciting art.

"Three Words"

Duke & Jones - THREE WORDS.png

REVIEW by TYLER CONWAY

JAN 9, 2026

Manchester house duo Duke & Jones team up with vocalist India Shan on their new song “Three Words,” delivering a pulsating track that invites the listener to stop what they’re doing and start moving, whether they’re at home, in the car, or out on the dancefloor. Duke & Jones’ poppy production expertly complements India Shan’s warm, delicate vocals, highlighting the artists’ respective proficiency in music production, songwriting, and singing. Production-wise, the track is soft enough to prevent the song from being overstimulating, yet trippy and bouncy enough to make people want to keep dancing. Lyrically, the song captures the energy of a young person who embraces nightlife culture as a barrier against their everyday problems, which is an increasingly relatable subject in 2026.

The team of Duke & Jones and India Shan comes off as polished and refined, where no singular aspect of the song is outshone by any other. The track wastes little time picking up, quickly transferring from the opening verse, to the bridge, then finally to the chorus. “Three Words” maintains a fresh and inventive sound, all while benefiting from similar notes of hopefulness and youthful excitement as found in some of the smash club hits of the early-to-mid 2010s. To summarize the track using only three words, I’d call it lively, catchy, and uplifting.

REVIEW by TYLER CONWAY

JAN 27, 2026

Grammy Award-nominated producer, Audien, and vocalist, Julia Church, collaborate on a delicate and stirring new track, “In Every Life.”

“In Every Life” kicks off with a softly sung opening verse, paired with a similarly subdued piano chord progression, collectively soothing the listener into a relaxed state that feels intimate and safe.

Audien and Church do an excellent job of setting up the record’s pacing, as it quickly morphs from a soft, emotive ballad into a pulsing, progressive Dance track fit for clubs and festivals.

Audien’s inventive production on “In Every Life” perfectly complements Church’s vocals, providing a blanket of progressive synths that envelopes her soft-spoken yet powerful performance. Lyrically, the song revolves around themes of remembrance, yearning, and reflective hindsight.

The song’s motifs are elevated by its lyrics and production, where the pulsating synths interwoven between Church’s spirited lamentation convey a sense of maintaining hopefulness in spite of facing complex interpersonal issues. The track’s uninhibited emotional depth checks many of the boxes that listeners are looking for, making it well-suited for in-the-car listening, as well as mixing between songs at public venues. Audien and Julia Church deliver a subtle, yet engaging track with “In Every Life.”

"What U Like"

Sarah de Warren - What U Like.jpg

REVIEW by TYLER CONWAY

JAN 9, 2026

Sarah de Warren delivers a trance-like and dreamy new track with her record, “What U Like.” The song has a vibe befitting of a UFO careening through space at warp speed, passing by stars and solar systems to the tune of an electrified hum. The production is pulsating, reverberant, and heavy, accompanied by softly sung vocals that soothe the listener amidst the track’s hefty synth and bass backdrop. Lyrically, the song exudes a supreme sense of self-assurance and swagger, revolving around the repeated phrase, “I got what you like, what you need, what you want.” Sarah de Warren’s strong singing performance heightens the song’s essence of confidence even further, complementing the record’s tone with her breathy and echoing vocals.

From start to finish, “What U Like” delivers an exciting experience that successfully gets the listener’s blood pumping. The final buildup and beat drop are especially hard-hitting, culminating in a mix of bass and synths that sounds as if it were plucked from a high-speed chase scene out of an action film. “What U Like” has all the staple components of a techno house hit, from the fluttering synths to the intermittent dreamlike vocals, making it an ideal track for enticing the crowd in any festival or club environment.
